Official Southwest Tech textbooks.

Whether you prefer to order books online or come to campus, you will need your current class list to ensure you are getting the appropriate books.  This is available in your student portal on the Southwest Tech website under the MySWTC button. You will need your student login (1st three letters your last name and last four digits of your student ID number) as well as the password you used to set up the account.

If you are on a wait list for a class, we advise you not to purchase the book, as there is a restocking fee. Also, if you feel you may be able to test out of a class, have advanced standing or transfer credits for a class, we advise not purchasing the book for the same reason.

If you are paying for books in the store with cash, check or credit card (we accept Visa MasterCard and Discover) you may pick up your books without waiting for vouchers. Financial aid vouchers can not be used for online purchases at this time.

If you want to obtain books with financial aid you will need to sign a credit agreement on the student portal. This needs to be in place in order to receive a book voucher at the Business Office. You can pick up your books once the vouchers become available, generally about 2-3 weeks before the start of the semester, but you can verify the date by calling the Business Office at 608.822.2309 or 608.822.2312 or by checking our Facebook page.

A book voucher must be obtained every semester. You will need to bring this voucher to the bookstore to put your books on account. Online students may obtain a book voucher by contacting the Business Office. If you need additional books or supplies and want to add them to your account, you will be required to bring your student photo ID. This is required to protect you from any fraudulent charges being added to your account as we do not know every student by name/face.
